Statsy is shutting down

Privacy Policy

This page should serve as a clear and transparent guide to what data we process and in which circumstances.

Apart from obsessing over privacy, we're nuts on straightforwardness too.

The rest of this page contains a detailed description of different scenarios and circumstances under which we process your data or your users' data. You know, the type of information for our fellow privacy aficionados, data security specialists, and attorneys.

To keep things
short & sweet, though, here are a couple of bullet points to sum things up for you:

  1. If you surf through Statsys' website and its' content pages, we only collect the necessary server-side data. We use Statsy as the primary analytics tool on our website, so to be specific, we collect the following information:

All the Personal Data outlined above is encrypted in transit and fully anonymized using a secure hash function. We don't store any Personal Data of our website visitors or any information related to an identified or identifiable living individual, as per GDPRs definition.

  1. If you use our script to track your website's performance, co2 footprint, or any of Statsy's features, we are not planting cookies nor storing your users' Personal Data on your behalf. The very same mechanisms apply as outlined in the point above.
  2. If you're a registered and active user of our app, we may store session cookies in your browser to identify whether you're logged in or not.
  1. Our app dashboard also uses Heap Analytics which gives us critical product development insights into how you use Statsy and which feature segments we should focus on improving.

Now, let’s jump to the nuts and bolts.

Who’s the Owner & Controller of your data?

The Owner and Controller of your data is Bejamas Group Sp. z o.o., a polish limited liability company registered by the District Court of Gliwice, X Department of the National Court Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy), under entry number KRS 0000740630, NIP [taxpayer ID] PL6392015814, REGON 380806088.

Bejamas Group Sp. z o.o. has its offices at ul. Szczytnicka 11, 50-382 Wrocław, Poland and headquarters at ul. Kopernika 18, 47-451 Tworków, Poland.

When browsing through the Statsy website

Statsy website uses our analytics script; therefore, while you surf it, we collect the following data points:

We collect this data, but we don't store it. All data points mentioned above are encrypted on the closest server edge available to your origin and fully anonymized using a secure hash function.

To prevent easy decryption of the data, Statsy changes the SALT for our hash function changes every 24 hours.

The only subprocessor of your data, in this case, is Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Edge Workers to hash data on the server closest to you, so for a split second, they live on one of Cloudflare's servers before being fully encrypted and transferred to our database.

It's important to emphasize that:
